Matthew, 13, is full of life, fun, and love. The weekend of April 19, 2026, Matthew's momma, Lilly, took him to the emergency room for what they thought was going to be a routine appendicitis. After a CT scan, it became every parent's worst nightmare. The CT results showed cancer that had spread to multiple organs, including his liver, kidneys, and lungs. He has been in the hospital for about a week now, waiting to begin treatment for his toughest battle yet. Lilly should not be focused on working and providing for Matthew and her two younger boys.
